'cause I abandoned the N/A section after it started giving me hemorrhages? :p

It's a single TD05 16G. Homegrown small setup, but it provides the small amount of boost a 10:1 motor needs.
Very cool.

So who's the lucky guy that inherited those ek2 headers?
Yes once I meant the singled atx VR4. I want to be able to drive without watching my gauges like a hawk because something may break. I don't even get that satisfaction out of my N/A
You will get more comfortable in it once you drive it around more. Trust me. ;) You just have no confidence in it because its all still so new. You'll love the car once all of the bugs are worked out and you drive it for a bit.

I'm not familiar with the JDM-US differences in the NSX. Is there anything else that could be "JDM Tyte"ed on the new NSXs?

As an aside: I almost detect a bit of hostility in the replies. Not sure if it's just me. (I'm in a bugger of a mood, so things are taking on a pointed aspect) If so, I'm a bit confused as to why. If not, it's just me - been a shit day.
dont sweat it man. we're all good here. I had a feeling something might be wrong with the whole thing so I just let it sit a while.

with regard to the TL, i really was disappointed when I checked the engine code - I thought it was a toned-down SOHC C30B under the hood but it read J32A. i almost cried :D

I've been considering getting a vette for some time now. I don't think I could bring myself to sell my Stealth though. Maybe the 3000GT that I hardly ever drive... but I've sunk way too much money into the Stealth TT to ever consider selling. Besides, why would I want to? :)

EDIT: A new LS3 would really kick ass though.

I put occasionally although it hasn't really been driven in over a year due to me being very slow at modding it and doing too much at once.

Is it wrong that I am debating wether I should dump a few grand more in mods into my car or spend it buying eljefe's car.... I find my baby to be reliable, she loves the liquid gold that flows from the pumps but she never lets me down.

Side note: I have been driving my car with the boost set at 3psi to save on gas. I actually have a switch hooked for the scramble boost feature. Which is nothing more than a switch that adjusts whichever map you are on for a set amount of time. I have mine set so if I am on my current low map it throws it from 3psi to 14psi and has the least amount of gain control for 10 seconds. I use this for putting ricers in their place and launching across busy roads to cut traffic.

Well today was the first time in months that I have run over my 3psi. I left late, and was at a stop sign with no sign of traffic letting up. Saw a small opening. Revved up, hit the switch, lifted the clutch and remembered why I love these cars. Boosted to 12 psi crossing the street and hit 30mph doing it. Car slid sideways but never lost its grip.... I missed that.

Yeah, with the leash on I get an additional 60 miles to a tank. When you drive in the city that makes a ton of difference.

I don't know anything about your setup, but how can you set your boost to 3psi? Don't the wastegates require more than that to open?

:stupid:

The wastegates are full open at 6psi, and a few people have even had it where stock gates still allow even higher pressure (I've seen 8psi when I was direct to the wastegates with no controller of any sort). There's no way to have it set to 3psi.

Instead of using low boost to get good gas, how about keeping your right foot off the floor? Using this method netted me a 5mpg jump (from 19.5 to 24.5) this past weekend. It does wonders. ;)

I DD my SL, need to do some maintenance on it though. My vr4 has been busted since the beginning of the year and probably won't be back together for another year easily.

I drive my TT every day. Almost at the 180k mark. :)

Except for what appears to be valve seals, due to the bit of smoke at startup and first idle, running pretty well.

I borrowed my sister's Straman Stealth for a couple days, though, what with this beautiful weather. It needs to be washed, it's covered with birdshit. At least that was my excuse for borrowing it! ;)

Nothing like going topless.
