On the Internet they say, "You never get this! You never get this!" But then one day they all met in Cali and they get this.

I've got 2 quarts of Chromabase (better than normal paint - more pigments) "Daytona Blue Effect". I believe it's off of a 350z. Here's a shot of a painted car in direct sunlight.

Now comes the hard part. I hate prep work. :(

Once I get my hood and widebody fenders in I'm gonna paint it w/ a teal candy that is just a little darker than the peacock green that is on it now (gay I know) and spray 4-5 coats of pearl for my racing stripes (thinking of ghosting something into the stripes). It's gonna look alot like it does now just a few shades darker. I really like that daytona blue.

I'm sorry guys, but flames belong to the Hot Rodders. I'm not a fan of the GT stripes either, but a few have pulled them off on a 3/S, and suprisingly on Stealths. :eek:

I almost bought a red 2nd gen 3000GT that had a white stripe on one side that went all the way back the car. It went right through the passanger headlight all the way back. It looked cybernetic, or like it had a scar on its face. It was badass. :headbang:

We just had a stealth here painted a 350z blue. I'll try to snag some pics late tonight. It's in a bunch of pieces right now, but you will get the gist of it.

[drama]It was badass I tell ya! It really was![/drama]

I wish I had pics of it. It sold a long time ago. I can garantee it's no longer on the road. +90k miles on it, and they were asking 7 grand.
94 Base ATX, cloth seats, sunroof.

Could have been a nice daily driver, but the price was ridiculous!

[quote=""Caffinated Soap""]Found another. One color, but it's a very rich/deep blue...

My god that cars sex. :d rool:

Mine should be seeing some fresh paint here soon. I am probly going to go with a similar color seen in this pic or I was also considering the Daytona Blue. Damn you Caffy for stealing the thoughts out of my brain. :lol: I might also just go with the World Rally Blue Pearl again.
