Do you still drive a 3s?

Post by Hannibalzero »

I'm just curious as to how many people on this board still drive a 3000GT or Stealth. Do you still own a 3s? Is it daily driven?

My stealth has been a lawn orniment for the past few years. You need to add that option to the poll:

I own a 3S but it isn't running atm.
My VR-4 was daily driven until my battery started mysteriously discharging.

I would be driving my 93 jeep, but it needs a radiator. I would be driving my 02 jeep, but Karla is since her Stealth isn't running either.

So I carpool.

Dude, you've got it rough.

Yup. Daily for me. So for almost 9 months now, no car = public transport! :(

I have a TT Stealth which I drive about 95% of the time. I also have a FWD TT conversion that I drive only when I need to.

Unless you live in the heart of a major city, I don't know how people get by like that. I can't go 2 days without having a car. Its just too hard to get around US suburbs and small cities without having your own transportation.

I walk 4 minutes to a bus stop. I hate buses, but it's the only way. Sometimes I ride my pushy to work, but mostly bus it in. I'm lazy!

I daily drive my 98 vr4 right now because my galant vr4 has a bad PS leak. I just picked up a 97 base model which is going to be made into a clone of my 98 vr4 (so people won't try to race me) and I'm going to daily drive that and sell my galant vr4. I've got a few others right now (red 91 vr4... in the process of selling today, red 92 vr4... putting back together next week, grey 92 vr4... getting painted, green 92 stealth... up for sale, red 93 stealth... needs trans, black 91 stealth FWD TT... parting out, and I'm picking up a black 91 vr4 later this week). So, I'm very much still in the 3/S game although I have been looking into getting myself an M3 (only if I sell my 98 vr4).

I've put 2k miles (I think) on the car in the last 15-16 months, so I barely ever drive it. It's been down for the last 4 months though, but should be back up in a couple weeks when I get back from vacation.

I have a 99 Grand Cherokee that I drive daily, but I'm looking at buying something else here really soon. Probably an 04 Maxima.

I've had a 3S since Labor Day of 2002 also. I bought the 95 base and had that for 2 1/2 years, then sold it in April 2005 and bought the VR4 that same week.

I daily drive my VR-4, other than a little lifter tick since its time for an oil change and a little smoke at long lights from the valve stem seals she purrs like a kitten.
