Front Mount Intercooler info

Can someone please explain the difference between a 600 HP FMIC and a 1000 HP FMIC. What are the finer details? Fin size? Core size? I think the one I am running at the moment (Hybrid) is a 600 HP FM. I'm going to be running power very close to that shortly and I wanted to know what happens when you start to over work your FM.

If you're heatsoaking the intercooler, you'll just start pushing hot air, reducing the amount of boost you can run because of increased knock. Same thing happens when you start maxing out your stock intercoolers.

As far as the differences between the two intercoolers, that I can't say.
