From stealth316.com

"The Stealth R/T Luxury was made only in 1994. According to the 1994 brochure it had ECS (does that make it the only FWD Stealth with ECS?). It also had as standard equipment: ABS, spoiler w/ LED light, heated mirrors, rear wiper/washer, cruise, PW, PDL, security, Ultimate sound, steering wheel controls. The chassis (or whatever) code for a 1994 RT Luxury is same as for a 1991-1993 RT. The 1994 RT has the same chassis code as a 1991-1993 ES. I have a working theory that as the Yen rose, and as DSM/Mitsu-Chrysler, Mitsu and most other Asian manufacturers "de-contented" their cars to keep the prices down, Dodge re-assigned the model names to lesser cars, but this RT Luxury sounds more like a junior Turbo car. There was some de-contenting in the 3000GT line also, like Mitsu changing the Base to the SOHC engine for 1997-1999."
From stealth316.com
haha, you shoulda just said 'search noob!!' :p

That chassis code stuff is interesting. I always wondered about the car i did the TT conversion on...........It's a 94 R/T but doesnt have any frills (ecs, auto ac, abs, etc) and still has the RT styling. I guess the chassis code stuff makes it an ES in an RT wrapper :D

Now I'm confused... My RT Luxury has nothing. No ABS, basic tape player, no ECS, no sunroof, and manual seats. It does have leather though.

There's another in Philly that I pulled an engine out of. This one has an auto tranny but cloth interior.

RT luxury is a loaded RT. externally the difference between it and an RT sport is the exhaust tips. sports have duals.

first gen RTs have ECS but afaik an RP sport is the only NA stealth with factory dual exhaust.

to make things more interesting....my ex has a 95 pearl white RT sport. 5 speed, cloth, dual exhaust, manual seats, fixed antenna, manual crank windows and manual locks. no ecs.

I sold that guy a side view mirror before. He bragged about how his pearl yellow stealth had power cloth seats.

In 93 there were even Stealth ES's with power leather, removable roofs, and ECS. I'm not sure if they were available in 91 and 92.

cloth seats in a TT? That's the first I've ever heard of that.

I wonder what that TT will go for......hmm...

It is kind of depressing to see a rare TT BIN under $10,000, though..
I maintain hope that these cars will be like the muscle cars in the 80's. Worthless, then, but overpriced 20 years later :D

good point. i know 91s had them (leather was optional) but i had no clue they came on any other years. we need to get someone to break down his vin and make sure cloth was from the factory.

The only cloth seats I know of aside from the '91's is in the MR, which we never got here.

The interior of the MR was esentially the same as a 2nd gen 3000 base. Even the spoiler was the same.

Seems like a lot of dealerships tended to like to fuck with these cars. There are just too many that seem to NOT fit the standard mold.

there is a guy in town with a 91 or 92 TT with cloth seats. They are definently factory, he was moaning about how he couldn't afford leather.
