My friend wants one of those things..he loves small cars..the smaller the better. I gave him a matchbox car..he wasn't amused :(

I still don't think 33/38mpg is very impressive for the technology available today.
If it was getting 60? Yeah..I'd get one, too. But 33? I can get a CRX for $500 and get better mileage :p

that 2nd pic is the exact reason id rock 1. chicks love them.


as for mileage....i averaged 33+ mpg in my mark viii when i went from portland to sac, ca. made 1 way trip on a tank and a half of gas. 9xx miles. 18 gal. tank.

Any of you read Sport Compact Car? They had an editorial piece on the Fit a couple months back. Basically, it was asking why Honda had taken the Civic so far from it's roots that they had to bring in a new car to fill that market niche again. The Fit is the same size as an EF/EG Civic (IIRC), while the current market Civic is something like 12" longer, 4" wider, and half a ton heavier than it's counterparts from days of yore. Please don't hold me to those numbers, as it's been quite some time since I've read the article. Just found it interesting and figured it would be worth bringing into this thread.
