....And I can't stop laughing about it.
Long story as short as I can make it; to start off, Tiffany's registration is out of date. Has been for almost a year, hasn't been an issue, until today that is, but that isn't the funniest part.
I borrowed her car to go to Baytown (about a 4 hour drive from Waco, TX) made it there, no problems. But today on the way back I'm driving north on HWY 6 and I pass a cop going the other way, I immediately see him bust a U turn, I look at my speedo, cruise control at 5 over, I'm thinking it can't be for me.
he then starts to tail me, now I'm thinking, "crap! registration!" Red and Blues and I pull over, Then over the intercom I'm asked to "exit the vehicle" See it turns out, that last time Tiffany did get her car registered, the person at the DMV made a typo when entering in Tiff's plates, they put an "8" where it is really a "3" So now since the plate on the car does not exist, I'm being pulled over for a potentially stolen car!
In the end, a bunch of questions, my license, my proof of insurance, the proof of insurance that I finally found in Tiffany's car (which was out of date by the way, her current one was in Waco with her) and some talking I received a written warning for expired registration.
Fast forward 30 miles down the road, and you can repeat the exact same scenario, only the second cop was around my age and we both had a great laugh about it.
It was all karma I tell you, I was just bragging to my cousins while in Houston that I have only been pulled over once in my 10 years of driving, next day twice in 30 miles. :muahaha:

Re: I was pulled over TWICE today!!!
John, you can never trust a ladies car to have the info you need at hand. You probably had to dig through fifteen tampons and starbucks napkins to find that out of date registration!

At least they weren't used tampons.

I was pulled over by the SAME cop twice within five minutes of each other.
