Baylor AutoX's are a great place to have fun and drive to your hearts content. We host usually smaller events (less than 50 cars) and are out there to have a blast.

Classification
- Cars will run in two groups: Experienced Group and Novice Group
- If you have autocrossed fewer than 2 times, you will run in the Novice Group
- Novice Group is required to ride along with instructor (with instructor driving) at least 2 times before driving
- Novice Group also is required to have an instructor ride with them during their heat at least twice before driving w/o an instructor
- Experienced Group will consist of everyone else
- Instructors will be: Joel Korpi and Steve Hollins
Format
- We have a very laid back format, because of the number of people that traditionally attend this event. If our electronic timing equipment works, then we are able to run multiple cars on course simultaneously. If not, then we use simple stopwatches and run one car at a time.
- Corner workers: we don't have any. If you hit a cone while running, it's your responsibility to safely finish your run and immediately inform the timers that you hit a cone. You are then required to go out on the track and fix the cone yourself.
Safety
- You must bring a helmet to participate in this event! If you do not have a helmet, either buy one or arrange in advance to share one. In order to make things less complicated, and since we're only running two groups, please try to bring your own helmet. If you have spares that you are willing to let people borrow, bring them as well!
Disclaimer
- This event is NOT associated with Baylor University in any way. For insurance reasons, we are required to say this. You are on your own as far as liability insurance, etc. goes.
If you would like to come please add your name to the list and I'll put it on our master list with the BDC.
